Dear SSKZM OBA members,
On behalf of the Executive Committee of SSKZM OBA, it is my duty and honour to announce our AGBM for 2020 and invite you all to be a part of it. Owing to the extraordinary circumstances that prevail, the event will be conducted via Zoom, on 13 Dec 2020, from 1000 hours. As you all are aware, the original AGBM that would have been held on our OBA day at SSKZM had to be cancelled. However, as per the prevailing rules of the Registrar of Societies, Trivandrum, it is a statutory requirement for us to conduct the AGBM within 18 months of the previous AGBM. Hence the planned meeting on 13 Dec 2020.
I also hereby invite items for inclusion in the agenda. I would be grateful if you could ensure that agenda points reach me on or before 27 Nov 2020. They can be sent to my personal email ID deepchin47@gmail.com.
I also request everyone to kindly share the formal notice that I am attaching to this mail, with as many members of SSKZM OBA as possible. As per our bye laws, we need a minimum of 100 members to attend the meeting so as to meet the criterion for a legal quorum. The Annual & Audit Reports will be circulated ahead of the AGBM.
Notice for Annual General Meeting of the Old Boys Association, SSKZM
Notice is hereby given that the Fifty First Annual General Meeting of the Old Boys Association, Sainik School, Kazhakootam will be held at 1000 hrs on Sunday, the 13th, December 2020. It will be a virtual meeting to transact the following business.
1. To read the Notice convening the Meeting.
2. To read and adopt the minutes of the 50th Annual General Meeting held on 13 July 2019.
3. To adopt the Annual Report of the Managing Committee, the Audited Balance Sheet and Income & Expenditure Accounts for the period ended 31st March, 2020.
4. To appoint Auditors for the ensuing year 2020-21.
5. To consider passing a resolution for the present Executive Committee to continue till the next practical AGM in 2021.
6. To finalize the date of next Reunion and AGM in 2021.
7. Any other matter with the permission of the Chair.
